KANSAS CITY, Mo.- A fresh, new mural in the heart of Midtown is encouraging Kansas Citians to give back.
Dozens of volunteers with the VML Foundation brought more color to what was previously a blank wall on McGee Trafficway.
The mural reads, "Never Better Kansas City," with the hashtag, "KC Gives."
If you’re in the area of the new mural, the VML Foundation wants you to have your cameras ready.
"Every photo taken at the mural, hashtag with KC Gives, the VML Foundation is going to make a donation of $1 for Youth Ambassadors," VML Foundation Community Outreach Manager Lauren Ziegler said.
Youth Ambassadors is a not-for-profit employment program for underserved youth in the community. The organization helps teens learn important life and job skills, and provides mentors.
