KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A few years after it shutdown, the historic Golden Ox restaurant in the West Bottoms will reopen on Friday.
The restaurant first opened in May of 1949. But struggling to attract customers, it shut down in December of 2014.
According to its website, the restaurant has new ownership and has undergone "a massive renovation."
