KANSAS CITY, Mo. — UPDATE 11:30 PM 7/19/2018: Officials say the missing teen and her child have been found safe.
Family told police that McKayla Rykiel, 16, ran away from home at about 5:20 p.m. Thursday on the 1200 block of Scenic Drive. They were last seen heading northbound.
McKayla was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, jean shorts and had her tied in a bun. Her two-month-old daughter was wearing a red onesie.
