KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Grandview, Missouri, man is dead after a crash in Callaway County, Missouri, early Monday morning.
According to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, it happened around 5:45 a.m. near the 151 mile marker on westbound Interstate 70.
Troopers reported the crash happened as 69-year-old Craig Cooper moved from the passing to the driving lane and hit a semi.
The crash report says Cooper overcorrected, and his car ran off the right side of the road, overturning and ejecting him.
He was pronounced dead on the scene.
MSHP said he was not wearing a seatbelt.
The driver of the semi was not injured.
