KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police and emergency responders investigating “a suspicious item” at Kansas City International Airport reopened roadway access to Terminal C after a 45-minute closure Tuesday evening.

An inbound passenger from Dallas left two masks and some other items outside the terminal shortly after 6 p.m.
The Kansas City, Missouri, Fire Department Hazmat Team examined the items and the road was reopened around 6:50 p.m.
Air Canada, Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Apple Vacations, Frontier Airlines, Spirit Airlines, United Airlines, Vacation Express/Miami Air and Viva Airbus use Terminal C.
