KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Kansas City, Kansas, home is a total loss after an early morning fire.
Fire crews were called to the area shortly before 5 a.m. near 7th and Parallel Parkway.
Investigators say no one was home at the vacant residence, and no injuries have been reported.
An odor of gas could be smelled in the area, but fire investigators say the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
