After a week, Kansas City Carriages is bringing its horse-drawn carriages back to the Plaza Friday night.
They hadn't been operating ever since a crash last weekend.

The horse, who was pulling four passengers and a driver, ran through several intersections on Broadway. Despite the driver's efforts, it wouldn't stop, and sent the carriage crashing into a guard wall.
The driver and a passenger were seriously injured.

A group called Animal Action for Kansas City started a petition to ban the rides that got more than 18,000 signatures.
The group plans to protest the carriage return Friday night.
