KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A "hypebeast fashion" boutique is scheduled to open inside Crown Center later this month, the center announced Friday.
Initial, a streetwear boutique, will open to the public on Saturday, Feb. 22, in suite 205.
The 964-square-foot store will feature "high-end brands popular within the hypebeast fashion culture," Crown Center said.
Initial's inventory will include brands such as Gucci, Nike, Comme des Garcon, Louis Vuitton and VAPE APPAREL from direct suppliers and consignors.
Ivan Qiu, Initial's founder, said 80% of the store's inventory will be clothing and collectible sneakers. The other 20% will be made up of sports accessories and collectible toys.
The store's planned hours of operation are:
- Monday through Friday: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Saturday: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Sunday: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
