KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Gates Bar-B-Q employee suffered life-threatening injuries in an overnight shooting in Independence, Missouri.
Independence police said three masked suspects entered the Gates location at 10440 E. U.S. Hwy 40 around 2:45 a.m. Monday.
One of the suspects shot the employee multiple times as the the suspects were running away.
The employee was taken to a local hospital.
Police released security footage from the incident, asking anyone who may be able to identify the suspects to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477, IPD at 816-325-7777, or email leads@indepmo.org.
