KANSAS CITY, Mo. — It’s the end of a generation for one Kansas City Pepsi plant.
PepsiCo officials confirmed Friday they are closing the plant, located in east Kansas City near 63rd Street and Hardesty Avenue.
The spokesperson said the plant will close in May.
“PepsiCo will close its Kansas City production facility in May 2019, though we anticipate being able to continue serving our customers and consumers in the area seamlessly. We remain committed to supporting all of our employees impacted by this decision during this time of transition.”
