The rink opened on Friday morning and hundreds of people strapped on the blades of glory.
The 44th season for Kansas City’s only public outdoor rink brought out gliders who have been a part of it for almost that long, as well as plenty of rookies.
Ice skating may be especially exciting this season with the Prudential U.S. Figure Skating Championships being hosted in Kansas City January 14-22, 2017.
So, to answer the eternal question, What Would Brian Boitano Do? He’d probably go skating at Crown Center.
