KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Kansas Gov. Jeff Colyer helped at least one crash victim after a bad wreck on K10 Friday afternoon.

Colyer's spokesperson told 41 Action News the governor saw a man sitting near the crash and told his driver to stop and that he needed to "be a doctor."

Colyer got out of the car and walked on the other side of K10 to help the man, including taking the man's pulse.

The governor brought the man back to his SUV and gave him water.

According to authorities, no one was seriously hurt in the wreck on westbound K10. The wreck caused a large traffic back-up east of K7.
