KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City Chiefs fans looking to grab some Super Bowl swag will have plenty of options.
Dick’s Sporting Goods locations in the Kansas City area have extended hours Sunday and Monday following the Chiefs victory against the San Francisco 49ers at Super Bowl LIV in Miami and began offering Chiefs Super Bowl Championship gear immediately following the win. The locations also will open at 7 a.m. Monday.
Shelbie Langford, a fan at Rally House in the Power & Light District, purchased Chiefs gear shortly following the historic win.
"Just being here and just having all the support and having everyone come together like this, just like we did for the Royals, it's just absolutely insane," Langford said. "It's so surreal. I just don't even know what to do."
Fans also are lined up out the doors at Academy Sports in Overland Park.
