KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Family members and the community are calling for people to speak up as they remember a woman who was fatally shot on Monday in Kansas City, Missouri.

They gathered at Golden Gates Memorial Chapel on Wednesday to remember the life of 20-year-old Diamon Eichelburger. She was killed outside of a gas station in the 2600 block of Van Brunt Boulevard.

Eichelburger was pregnant and had her child in a stroller when she was shot.

Latisha Norfleet, who lost a child to gun violence, is pleading for answers.

"If you know anything about any murders out here, any murders, say something y'all,” Norfleet said. “We are hurting out here. We are grieving, we don't have justice for our baby yet."

A 19-year-old was charged on Wednesday in connection to Eichelburger's death.
