KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City metro will be under a winter weather advisory from 4 a.m. Monday until 1 a.m. Tuesday.
Portions of east central and northeast Kansas and central, north central, northeast, northwest and west central Missouri are included in the advisory.

Snow and some mixed precipitation are expected. The 41 Action News weather team predicts there will be a dusting to 3 inches of snow.
Roads could be slippery, and a “hard freeze” is expected Monday night into Tuesday.
Conditions are expected to affect the morning commute.
