KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Royals are lending a neighborly helping hand to the Kansas City Chiefs ahead of Sunday's AFC Championship matchup against the Tennessee Titans.

The Royals tweeted a video Friday afternoon featuring the club's mascot, Sluggerrr, dressed in a Chiefs Jersey and digging through a storage closet.

After tossing aside what appeared to be a T-shirt cannon, a magic wand and totes filled with who-knows-what, Sluggerrr at last finds what he's searching for — a box of fireworks.

Sluggerrr hurries out of Kauffman Stadium to hand the box off to KC Wolf in front of Arrowhead Stadium.

The pair dances before parting ways.

The jest is in reference to the Chiefs' comeback victory over the Houston Texans in last week's AFC Divisional Round game. The Chiefs scored so many touchdowns, the team ran out of fireworks.
