KANSAS CITY, Mo. — No injuries were reported after a Kansas City, Missouri, Fire Department ambulance was involved in a rollover crash Friday afternoon.

Around 5:15 p.m., first responders were called to the crash near East 31st Street and Myrtle Avenue.

According to Kansas City, Missouri, police officers at the scene, the ambulance was traveling east on 31st with its lights and sirens on when a Cadillac pulled out in front of it from Myrtle.

As the ambulance tried to avoid the car, it ran up power lines which went from the ground to the pole, which caused it to tip on its side, police said.

Initial reports indicated the ambulance crew was able to exit the vehicle.
