KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Kansas City residents looking to escape the April gloom were granted another option Tuesday.
Allegiant Airlines and Kansas City International Airport announced a new service Tuesday offering non-stop service between KCI and Myrtle Beach, S.C. starting June 8, 2018.
Officials say the route will be offered twice-weekly on a seasonable basis.
Allegiant’s new service to Myrtle Beach expands its number of KCI-based destinations to six.
"We are extremely grateful for Allegiant’s commitment to serving the Kansas City region,” Pat Klein, director of aviation for the Kansas City Aviation Department, said in a release.
Travelers can check flights on the airline's website.
