KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One man died in a Kansas City, Kansas, house fire Tuesday morning.
The blaze happened around 8:15 a.m. at 2832 North Allis St. near Sanford Avenue, according to the Kansas City, Kansas, Fire Department.
A second alarm was called on the fire to bring more crews to the scene after heavy smoke and fire were seen coming from the house when crews arrived.
KCKFD said firefighters found a man near the rear door of the house who was taken outside with significant burns.
The man was pronounced dead by paramedics.
KCKFD is investigating the fire.
