KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City, Kansas, police are asking for help to identify vehicles seen in the West Bottoms area at the time two food trucks were stolen.

The Waffler and the R&R Paseo Grill trucks were stolen Sunday from a lot in the West Bottoms on the Kansas side. Items were also stolen from Kurry Up KC.

A passerby located the trucks in Kansas City, Missouri, on Monday about a mile from where they were stolen, but much of the food and equipment had been removed from the vehicles.

Police said they are looking for four people who arrived near the food trucks in a white Ford flatbed utility truck with an overhead light on top and "STE" mud flaps.

Police also released photos of two other vehicles that were seen in the area around the time of the theft. One is a Chevy Spark and the other appears to be a Chevy Malibu.

Anyone with information on the theft or the vehicles should call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.
