A Kansas City, Kansas police car, running with lights and sirens was involved in a crash about 9:00 p.m. Friday at 13th & State Avenue.
Police say a 2013 Ford Explorer was westbound on State, a 1999 Nissan Altima was southbound on 13th when the two collided in the intersection. The police car then struck the Altima.
The police car was driven by Nikoly Pleshka, 28, and 24-year-old Garrett Mumphrey. Both were wearing seatbelts and were not injured.
The Altima, driven by 32-year-old Josue Alfaro Villeda was not wearing a seatbelt and suffered a possible injury.
The crash is under investigation.
