Teen killed, two injured in two separate KCK shootings overnight

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A 19-year-old was killed and two others were injured in two separate shootings overnight in Kansas City, Kansas, police said.

Around 2:20 a.m. Sunday, police were called to the 1900 block of North Allis Street for a shooting. Officers found a man who had been shot inside a vehicle, according to police spokesman Officer Jonathon Westbrook.

The man, identified as 19-year-old Adam Williams of KCK, was pronounced dead at the scene.

About three hours earlier, officers were called to 49th Street and Dixie Court on a separate shooting.

Police said one person was shot and transported to an area hospital, where they were in stable condition.

Police said another person was transported to an area hospital, but that person was not shot in the incident.
