UPDATE, 11:40 a.m. Oct. 27 | Police said the person of interest was apprehended by U.S. Marshals in Kansas City, Kansas, on Monday night.
ORIGINAL, Oct. 25 | Kansas City, Kansas police are investigating a possible Sunday morning kidnapping.
Police were dispatched on a missing/runaway juvenile call just have 5 a.m. When they arrived, police say a family member told them that a man forced the juvenile into a 1998 gold Toyota Camry, Kansas license plate 662-MYB, and fled the area.
After a short investigation, the juvenile was located safe and transported to an area hospital for medical assessment.
A second crime scene was located in the 6300 block of Holiday Drive.
Police have named Germaine C. Lewis as a person-of-interest. They're asking if you see him, call 911 immediately.
