KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City, Kansas, police are investigating a homicide that happened Sunday night in the 4800 block of Wood Avenue.
Officers were called to the location just before 9:30 p.m.
When they arrived, they found a man in his 40s with an apparent gunshot wound. He was already dead.
He has been identified as 41-year-old Marco Mcelwee of Kansas City, Kansas.
There is no suspect in custody.
