KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One man has died following a shootingSaturday afternoon in Kansas City, Kansas.
Police responded to the 4800 block of Richmond Avenue around 4:38 p.m.
A 31-year-old male victim, later identified as Vincent Locke, of Kansas City, Kansas, was located and taken to an area hospital, where police said he later died.
Police also saidthe suspect, a 51-year-old male, later identified as Anthony Kane, of Kansas City, Kansas, fled the scene, but now is in custody.
The suspect, according to police, was arrested at an area hospital where he had "sought treatment for non-life-threatening injuries related to the shooting," KCKPD said in a news release.
Police said the victim and suspect are related.
