KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Two people have been released from self-monitoring after they showed no signs of coronavirus, the Kansas City, Missouri, Health Department said Friday.
Earlier this week, KCHD said it was monitoring fewer than 10 people for possible coronavirus.
The two people released Friday were given the all-clear after a two-week monitoring program.
Wednesday, the health department said the people they monitored were at "medium risk" of contracting the disease, which originated in China.
All the people met at least one criteria for the disease, KCHS said.
Dr. Rex Archer explained the self-monitoring process as a "home quarantine, basically, until that 14-day period from whenever they were exposed."
