KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Kansas City, Missouri, truck driver was killed in an accident Wednesday morning in Junction City, Kansas.
Major Willie Washington, 71, was outside a 2009 Peterbilt truck about 7 a.m. when it started to roll forward, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol crash log.
Washington tried to get into the truck and was pinned between the power unit and another semi trailer, the crash log states.
No other injuries were reported.
