KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Police were looking for a suspect in an overnight carjacking Wednesday morning after someone shot a man in the leg and drove off in his car.
The suspect reportedly shot a man near 37th and Washington just before 3 a.m. overnight. He then stole the victim's silver Chevy Cruze, which police later located.
Per the latest update, police were still looking for the suspect, who apparently ditched the stolen car.
According to officials, the victim was expected to recover from his injuries.
