UPDATE, Feb. 22 | The death has now been ruled a homicide, according to KCPD.
ORIGINAL STORY, Feb. 21 | The death of a man located Sunday in Minor Park is being investigated as suspicious, according to Kansas City, Missouri, police.
Officers responded around 3 p.m. to the area of East Red Bridge and Blue River roads on an EMS call, where a male victim was located in Minor Park.
A KCPD spokesperson said EMS declared the man deceased on scene.
There is no additional information at this time.
