KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Put on your best costume and grab your Halloween basket for goodies because it’s almost Halloween!
KCPD is offering a safe way to enjoy the holiday. This year some KCPD patrol stations are hosting Halloween events from Oct. 28th through the 31st.
On October 28th from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Metro Patrol Division located at 7601 Prospect everyone is invited for a fun and safe Trunk-or-Treat event.
There will also be games, different activates and free food (that isn’t candy).
This event is being sponsored by KCPD, Alphapointe, Gethsemane Church and Blue Hills Community Services.
The next day on the October 29th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., come out and celebrate the 4th Annual KCPD Friends and Family Trunk and Treat Fall Festival. This year the event is being held at the KCPD Police Academy at 6885 NE Pleasant Valley Rd.
It will be a fun-filled evening with Trunk-or-Treating, a chili cook-off and live music with a DJ.
Kids can decorate their own mini cupcake and have their photo taken with a fun Halloween prop.
On Halloween night from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., come to East Patrol Division at 2640 Prospect for an Addam’s Family themed “Spooky Chamber” party. There will be treats, games and prizes for children of all ages.
Children are encouraged to wear their costumes and come ready to have a spooky good time!
If you would like more information about these events please call either the Metro Patrol station at 816-581-0700 or East Patrol station at 816-234-5530.
