UPDATE, May 7 | Kansas City, Missouri, police say a second victim has died from injuries sustained in the shooting. He was identified as Frederick Tolbert, 24.
Police said Tolbert died Wednesday.
UPDATE, May 4 | Police have identified the deceased victim as 24-year-old Terence Rodgers. One of the other victims in the shooting, an adult male, remains in critical condition. The juvenile victim has been released from the hospital.
ORIGINAL, May 2 | Kansas City police are investigating a deadly Saturday morning shooting.
The call went out just after 7 a.m. for a shooting in the 2300 block of Van Brunt Boulevard.
Police said that when they arrived, they found a man outside a home, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a hospital and later pronounced dead.
Two other victims, a man and teenage male, were inside the home. Both were transported to area hospitals. The man is in critical condition and the teenager in stable condition.
One local business owner told 41 Action News crews they heard multiple gunshots.
No suspect information is available at this time.
Detectives are canvassing the area for any witnesses or surveillance video that may have captured the shooting. Crime scene investigators are processing the scene for evidence.
