KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City, Missouri, police are investigating a homicide in the 8300 block of Hillcrest Road.
Police were called to the area around 12:30 a.m. on a reported shooting.
When officers arrived, they found a man on the ground in a parking lot with a gunshot wound. He died at the scene.
He has been identified as 20-year-old Christopher Davis.
Detectives are working to develop suspect information and determine what led up to the shooting.
