UPDATE - Jan. 9, 4:15 p.m. | KCPD said 90-year-old Alex Bonner, who had been missing from his KCMO home since Thursday, was found dead in Fort Scott, Kansas.
Police said his death appeared to be of natural causes.
UPDATE - Jan. 9, 12:35 p.m. | Kansas City, Missouri, police released updated information in the search for 90-year-old Alex Bonner Monday.
Authorities learned that Bonner has family in Beaumont and Bay City, Texas, and may have been trying to travel there.
Anyone who sees him is asked to call 911 or the KCPD missing persons unit at 816-234-5136.

Alex Bonner left his home near East 62nd Street and South Benton Boulevard in a white, four-door 2014 Buick Lacrosse with Missouri license GD0 U9T.
He told his caretaker that he was attending a funeral in Kansas City, according to an alert from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Bonner is 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 195 pounds. He has purple hair and brown eyes.
His vehicle was last seen on Thursday heading southbound on Interstate 35 in Lenexa.
Bonner has been diagnosed with dementia and has a heart condition.
