KANSAS CITY, Mo. — UPDATE 10:55 PM 2/8/2017: The missing boy has been found and is safe.

Kansas City police are asking for the public's help looking for a missing 10-year-old boy.
Moses I. Escalante was last seen at about 7:45 a.m. Thursday near 5th and Oakley, according to a release from KCPD.
He's described as 4'06" and 80 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black ball cap with diamonds on the front, black jacket, blue shirt, black and white shoes and was carrying a backpack.
If you have any information about the boy's whereabouts, you're asked to call local law enforcement.
