KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City, Missouri, police have identified the woman killed in an overnight shooting.
Police said 25-year old Ki'essence Pelton is the woman who arrived at the hospital with gunshot wounds just before 1 a.m., and was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the vehicle Pelton was in told police they were in the area of 39th Street and Myrtle Avenue when they heard gunfire. The driver then realized that Pelton had been struck.

There is a $25,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in this case.
