KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police in Kansas City, Missouri, announced Thursday a happy ending to the search for a missing 21-year-old woman.
Sharron A. Henderson-Porter, who also goes by “Shelly Michelle,” was found safe.

She had left a residence in the 7500 block of Virginia Avenue around 4:15 a.m. on Sunday and was last seen by a Truman Medical Center security officer at the bus stop around 8 a.m. on Monday in the area of East 23rd and Holmes streets.
According to a release from KCPD, Henderson-Porter has the mental capacity of a 12-year-old and her family was concerned for her well-being.
