KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Teachers, parents and students will hopefully find remote learning a little bit easier soon.

During its meeting Friday, the Kansas City, Missouri, School District Board of Education formally approved spending an additional $210,000 to upgrade all of its hot spots to operate on unlimited plans.

The district had already set aside the funds, though Friday’s action makes the allocation official.

"Being proactive is what will keep this school district on good track to provide the educational services that we all know our kids deserve,” KCPS Superintendent Mark Bedell said.

Those interested in a hot spot can call 816-418-4357 or e-mail helpdesk@kcpublicschools.org.
