KANSAS CITY, Mo. — It's the last day to donate to Fill The Fridge!
From 7am-7pm on Saturday, you can donate perishable food items when you visit Price Chopper at 7201 W 151st Street in Overland Park. The proceeds go to Harvesters to help feed the hungry.
What should you buy when you visit your local Price Chopper to help Fill the Fridge? Harvesters requests kid-friendly perishables, or every $1 donated helps provide three meals.
Fill the Fridge Shopping List:
- Milk
- Butter
- Cheese
- Orange juice
- Hot dogs
- Apples
- Bacon
- Yogurt
- Oranges
- Pre-packaged lunch meats (not deli)
Harvesters has donated nearly 69 thousand pounds of food so far in 2020.
