KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Some Kansas City metro residents showed their support for law enforcement on Sunday night.
Gathered outside the Shawnee Justice Center, they displayed blue balloons, as well as signs that read “Back the Blue.”

Organizers said there currently is not enough support for law enforcement.
Roughly 30 people attended the event, which lasted about an hour.
