KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Leawood police are investigating a death at a shopping center Saturday morning.
A 9-1-1 call was made from the Leawood Plaza shopping area in the 12200 block of State Line Road just after 4:30 a.m. Saturday.
First responders found an unconscious male.
CPR was started, but the person could not be resuscitated.
Detectives are working to determine the cause of death, but police say there is no obvious safety risk to residents.
The victim's id has not yet been released.
