KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Lee’s Summit police are investigating after a drive-by shooting early Sunday morning.

Around 3 a.m., officers responded to the 700 block of Southeast 11th Street after reports of gunshots, the police department said. Police confirmed that shots had been fired from a passing vehicle that struck vehicles in the driveway and garage door.

The residents of the home told police that the shooting could be related to a previous disturbance.

No injuries were reported in the incident. Detectives recovered several surveillance videos from cameras in the area, police said.
