KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Veterans in the Kansas City Metro Area have several locations where they can receive discounts and free items this Veterans Day.
Many local restaurants and business are showing their appreciation for service members. Here's the list:
Denny's
Form 5 a.m. to noon, service members can enjoy a complimentary Build Your Own Grand Slam. The offer is dine-in only.
Missouri Casinos
Veterans and active military will receive free meals at Missouri casinos all day Monday.
Main Event
All active-duty military personnel and veterans will receive 30 minutes of free game play and a free entree from a special menu.
Kansas City International Airport
Veterans flying through KCI on Monday can receive a complimentary Pimento Cheeseburger at the Boulevard Brewing Company, KCI Brew Pub or Pork and Pick in the airport terminals. ID is required.
Independence Square
Courthouse Exchange is offering a free meal from their military menu. 3 Trails Brewing is offering one free beer. Other merchants on the square will have discounts available to veterans.
QuikTrip
Veterans can receive a free self-serve coffee with military ID all day.
Price Chopper
Veterans will get 500 points that can be redeemed for food rewards of $0.25 off of gas per gallon, up to 20 gallons.
