Some young Catholics in the Kansas City metro have a new sense of pride in their faith and their future following the Pope’s visit.

The leader of their faith made a lasting impression on their lives, strengthening their faith.
Junior Lauren Niesen wants to be a pediatrician, a wife and a mom.
“Family life can seem very day to day monotonous but the way he spoke about it being the pinnacle of our faith and the place where faith can grow it really struck me how important it is,” said Niesen.
Past scandals rocked the Catholic Church and left a bad impression with many people.
However, students believe the Pope’s visit shed a new, positive light on the Catholic Church and the people who serve it.
