KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Less than two months before its scheduled opening, the Loews Kansas City Hotel will host a three-day hiring event this week.
The 800-room hotel, which opens April 2 and will be connected to the Kansas City Convention Center, needs to fill approximately 350 jobs.
The hiring fair will take place from noon to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday in the Kansas City Convention Center lobby.
“At Loews Hotels we have a history and heritage of providing memorable guest experiences with a strong service culture,” Loews Kansas City Hotel Managing Director Brian Johnson said in a statement about the job fair. “We are looking for passionate team members who are ambitious, dedicated to the community and who are looking to join a collaborative and engaging team.”
The hotel is looking to hire managers, house staff, chefs, room attendants, front-desk agents, concierge and bell service staff and more positions.
Loews also has open position at its restaurants, including managers, bartenders, bussers and hosts.
With Loews Kansas City Hotel senior staff on site during the fair, applicants will have a chance to leave the hiring event with a job offer.
Interested applicants are encouraged to apply online in advance.
