UPDATE: Days later, missing man found alive in car in ravine

UPDATE, 10.19 4:50 p.m. | Lee's Summit police said that Ryan Linneman passed away from his injuries on Saturday.

UPDATE, 10/17 9:15 a.m. | Lee's Summit police said Ryan Linneman was found Wednesday night.

Police said a dirt biker was riding in the area of Interstate 470 and View High Drive when they saw a car in a ravine.

Police believe Linneman's car was eastbound on I-470 when it travelled off the road into the ravine.

He was taken to a local hospital with critical injuries.

PREVIOUS | Lee’s Summit police are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing 37-year-old man.

Police said that Ryan Linneman was last seen on Oct. 9. He was driving a tan 2004 Honda Accord with Missouri license plate MF0-A4P, according to a post on the Lee’s Summit Police Department’s Facebook page.

“Detectives have exhausted all normal means for locating a missing person, and we are asking for the public's help in finding him,” LSPD said on Facebook.
