KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A man died in a shooting Monday night in Kansas City, Missouri, police said.
The shooting happened at a home near east 56 Street and Westridge Road.
Officers responded to the scene about 7:30 p.m. and found a man in the yard who had been shot.
Several people were trying to help the victim when police arrived.
Officers, and shortly after, paramedics took over efforts to save the victim's life, police said.
The man, who name has not been released, died at a hospital.
No word on what led to the violence.
