KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Olathe police were called to a water rescue after a man drove a vehicle into Lake Olathe early Saturday morning.
Police were called to 625 S. Lakeshore Drive just before 3:30 Saturday morning.
Officers say a man in his 60's reportedly drove his vehicle into the water.
The man was able to get out of the vehicle and swim to shore.
He was transported to an area hospital, but is expected to be ok.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
Rescue crews are still working to locate the vehicle.
