UPDATE — SUNDAY AUGUST 19, 1:45: Police have identified the victim as Edgar J. Gabriel, 36 of Kansas City.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A man was found shot to death on Interstate 435 early Sunday morning.
Police were called to the scene around 3:30 a.m. near northbound I-435 just south of Eastwood Trafficway on a shooting call.
Officers found a man dead on the highway.
The northbound lanes of the interstate were shut down until 8 a.m. while police collected evidence.
