A man in his 50's was found dead in his car in his driveway at 74th & Flora in KCMO Saturday morning.

A police officer in the area reportedly heard shots about 1:00 a.m., but nothing was found.
The man's body was discovered just before 8:00 a.m. Saturday morning.

Officers say a man in his 50's was found dead in his car, which had been shot multiple times. An investigation is underway.
Neighbors say it’s not uncommon to hear gun shots ring out.
"When you hear shots all you can do is hope and pray it doesn't come your way," said a neighbor.

Hours after police were called to Kansas City’s 14th homicide, the cities Violence Task Force heard from frustrated community members.

"The murdering is just over taken our city," said Fannie Hill, a community member attending the meeting.
"This is an urgency that effects all of us and this community dialog I think will result in more people becoming engaged and involved in wanting to get something done," said councilwoman Jolie Justus.
