A man is in custody after a standoff with police in Kansas City, Mo.
Police were called to the 11100 block of Herrick Avenue at approximately 11 a.m. Friday for a disturbance.
A woman was reportedly screaming in the street. The woman told police she recently moved out of her boyfriend’s home and he was refusing to give up her stuff.
When officers contacted her boyfriend, he told police he would shoot them if they attempted to arrest him.
The suspect has 14 outstanding warrants ranging from traffic charges to domestic violence assault.
Negotiators were on the scene.
The suspect left the home at 1:05 p.m. and was taken into custody.
